Herbert Bielejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Damian Sala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Bejrut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgar Betonowy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Wojno. 26 minutes into the match, Glichów's Wojciech Rostow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wieslaw Budarz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wit Majtyka's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Wojciech Rostow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wieslaw Budarz. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wieslaw Budarz should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute of the match, Maksymilian Obuchowicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wieslaw Budarz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Betonowy was the one to do the kick off. Konstanty Kiewra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Olgierd Bejrut made a huge save. Glichów's Olgierd Bejrut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Wojno in the 61st minute of play. Wojciech Rostow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Wieslaw Budarz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Glichów's Olgierd Bejrut got control of the ball when Konstanty Kiewra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Betonowy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Wojciech Rostow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wieslaw Budarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maksymilian Obuchowicz in the 94th minute of the match. Wieslaw Budarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Rostow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glichów's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
