When Ulryk Bryk came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Nimptsch SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulryk Bryk couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Olender in the 55th minute of play forced Grubaski's goalkeeper Ziemowit Tipinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grubaski's Ziemowit Tipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Olender in the 58th minute of play. Nimptsch SSA's Waldemar Poling got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ziemowit Tipinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 82 minutes, Iwan Olender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nimptsch SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwan Olender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aleksander Pozorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nimptsch SSA had played much better football throughout.
