An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Zdeb in the 14th minute of play forced Zagbrzyn's goalkeeper Zbyszek Plech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Roman Sadlowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Bytków's Edmund Mielak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszek Plech. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. Zagbrzyn's Zbyszek Plech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Latocha in the 25th minute of play. Ulryk Gendolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Karaszkiewicz having to interfere. Konrad Domamir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Zagbrzyn's goalkeeper Zbyszek Plech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Mielak. 36 minutes into the match, Zagbrzyn's goalkeeper Zbyszek Plech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hieronim Penc. Hieronim Penc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Zbyszek Plech made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Bytków's Zbyszek Plech threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmund Mielak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zagbrzyn's Zbyszek Plech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Zagbrzyn from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Mielak made a kick off. Zbyszek Plech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Penc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbyszek Plech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Zdeb in the 53rd minute of play. Zbyszek Plech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Mielak in the 54th minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play, Bytków's Edmund Mielak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszek Plech was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zbyszek Plech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Latocha in the 62nd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Zagbrzyn's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Mielak came free, but Zbyszek Plech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zagbrzyn's Zbyszek Plech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Penc in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Wincent Latocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Plech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Edmund Mielak made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszek Plech. Zagbrzyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 78th minute, Hugon Dembkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Domamir hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Konrad Domamir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zygmunt Karaszkiewicz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Zagbrzyn defense, Hieronim Penc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszek Plech. The Zagbrzyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszek Plech should have stopped the shot.
