The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gwidon Gierasik during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inua Tychy booed when Szczechowo SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kryspin Noworolnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inua Tychy's Alfred Tyszka managed to work through Szczechowo SSA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alfred Tyszka dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Radomir Pacholewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Zachariasz Wojtowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jedrzej Pankowski came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Szczechowo SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Pankowski couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Majusiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Bulkiewicz in the 36th minute of play. Mieszko Indyk charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mieszko Indyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mieszko Indyk hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Zachariasz Wojtowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Pacholewski in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jedrzej Pankowski got free with Zachariasz Wojtowicz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Radomir Pacholewski made a kick off. Wojciech Hodas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jedrzej Pankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute Szczechowo SSA were awarded a corner. Zachariasz Penkalski went to the cornerflag to take it. Norbert Zywiec was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Pankowski in the 64th minute of play forced Inua Tychy's goalkeeper Zachariasz Wojtowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65thth minute of the game Jedrzej Pankowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inua Tychy's Zachariasz Wojtowicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zachariasz Wojtowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jedrzej Pankowski's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Lech Chmielecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inua Tychy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szczechowo SSA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Inua Tychy's Lech Chmielecki got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alfred Tyszka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfred Tyszka scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Majusiak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Inua Tychy's Igor Bulkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dariusz Majusiak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Radomir Pacholewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Wojtowicz having to interfere. The Inua Tychy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inua Tychy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
