Krzysztof Penczkowski started the match with the kick off. Edward Jajecznica's late challenge caught a Giants of Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Jajecznica helped the player get up and apologised. Edward Jajecznica kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 9th minute Krzysztof Ostrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Lipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Artur Lipinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giants of Bydgoszcz. Roch Zuraw scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boruc Rzegotka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Roch Zuraw came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Skiereszewo SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Zuraw couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Giants of Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Zuraw came free, but Boruc Rzegotka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Artur Lipinski managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Giants of Bydgoszcz's De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zbyszko Polakowski's late challenge caught a Giants of Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roch Zuraw ran back to his position shaking his head. De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Artur Lipinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Jajecznica was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lucjan Kaszubik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skiereszewo SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Kaszubik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boruc Rzegotka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Giants of Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina couldn't finish the play. Lukasz Raflewski's late challenge caught a Giants of Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giants of Bydgoszcz's Krzysztof Penczkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Edward Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Rzegotka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De-la-Cruz Cruzmaltina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Jajecznica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Boruc Rzegotka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
