Robert Galus kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Tytus Cupial had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Magdziarz. 40 minutes into the match, Marcin Misiorowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Penczkowski. Płaszowianka Kraków's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcin Misiorowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Trac to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Julian Trac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Cupial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zenon Patrylo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Penczkowski having to interfere. Andrzej Frankowski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Adam Penczkowski made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Niedzwiecki sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Zbyszek Magdziarz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fryderyk Tomiczek during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 87 minutes into the game, Julian Trac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tytus Cupial was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
