Teobald Czaplicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Ryback having to interfere. The corner led Szybka's Franciszek Czerny to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Zurawski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 25 minutes, Benedykt Czajka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZS Sosnowiec and the Szybka players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Zurawski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Szybka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ZS Sosnowiec for a fine match.
