Jan Kasprzak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Basinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Technokraci's Jan Kasprzak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Wydrych in the 28th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Technokraci got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Borkowski. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michal Basinski to make the kick off.
