When Stasio Raflewski came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ogórki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Raflewski couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslaw Bielatowicz got free with Remigiusz Chuchro in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ogórki's Remigiusz Chuchro got control of the ball when Miroslaw Bielatowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mokradle's zone, Wasyl Murdza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Perkowski came out of the goal and Wasyl Murdza tried to chip the ball over his head. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wasyl Murdza to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Leszek Smolarek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Chuchro. Ogórki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leszek Smolarek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Miroslaw Bielatowicz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Remigiusz Chuchro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mokradle. 4-0 became the score in the 70th minute when Leszek Smolarek elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Remigiusz Chuchro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 92 minutes into the game, Stasio Raflewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leon Perkowski. Stasio Raflewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Ogórki's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mokradle had won, even though Ogórki had held more of the ball.
