After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Zenon Dobilas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gdeszyn SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Dobilas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wojciech Zuraw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 3 minutes, Pankracy Liberko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodenstein SSA and the Gdeszyn SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rodenstein SSA getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pankracy Liberko hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Rodenstein SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Dobilas came free, but Wojciech Zuraw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gdeszyn SSA's Jan Jaktorowo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenon Dobilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wojciech Zuraw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Dobilas in the 15th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Rodenstein SSA got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Dropinski. If Zenon Dobilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Jaktorowo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliusz Dropinski during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Rodenstein SSA got a freekick which was hit by Juliusz Dropinski. If Jan Jaktorowo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wojciech Zuraw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Jaktorowo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Zenon Dobilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Zuraw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Jaktorowo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Wojciech Zuraw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gdeszyn SSA.
