In the 16th minute, Cyprian Dziura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gustaw Bochinski came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaw Bochinski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kiersztanowo's Boguslaw Modliszewski got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Witomir Jenkot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiersztanowo and the FC Bydgoszcz players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kiersztanowo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Witomir Jenkot hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Czeslaw Bielatowicz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Filanowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucjan Filanowski came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bydgoszcz's Roch Poling. But to his dismay, Roch Poling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Roman Misiorowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roch Poling during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roch Poling kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 48th minute Edgar Skrzypiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Filanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wasyl Fudalej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Lisewski in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Kiersztanowo booed when FC Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Skrzypiec didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, FC Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Lisewski came free, but Wasyl Fudalej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Cyprian Dziura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiersztanowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyprian Dziura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Witomir Jenkot was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Kiersztanowo's Witomir Jenkot got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Kiersztanowo's goalkeeper Lucjan Filanowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaw Bochinski. Gustaw Bochinski struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Lucjan Filanowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bydgoszcz. Lucjan Filanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Poling in the 70th minute of play. Wasyl Fudalej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Dziura, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cyprian Dziura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Fudalej having to interfere. If Cyprian Dziura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lukasz Bambas's late challenge caught a FC Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukasz Bambas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Bydgoszcz booed when Kiersztanowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukasz Bambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roch Poling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
