Czeslaw Zacharzewski made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Mikolaj Ruszkowski sent off a good shot on target. Ludomil Konieczny kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Miroslaw Szostak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match, Borys Szostak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Czeslaw Zacharzewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Borowski in the 17th minute of play forced Sadlacken's goalkeeper Iwan Sokol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sadlacken's Iwan Sokol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Lanczak in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Ruch Chorzów's Czeslaw Zacharzewski got control of the ball when Marian Pyczkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marian Pyczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Borowski in the 26th minute of play forced Sadlacken's goalkeeper Iwan Sokol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ruch Chorzów booed when Sadlacken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Tusk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes Ruch Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Borowski. In the 34thth minute of the game Witalis Tusk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruch Chorzów's Czeslaw Zacharzewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marian Pyczkowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Czeslaw Zacharzewski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Czeslaw Zacharzewski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Borys Szostak sent off a good shot on target. Mariusz Lanczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Iwan Sokol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sadlacken defense, Mariusz Lanczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Sokol. The Sadlacken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Sokol should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Borys Szostak made the kick off in the second half. Czeslaw Zacharzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Pyczkowski in the 54th minute of the match. Witalis Tusk kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sadlacken's Witalis Tusk got a free kick in the 68th minute. The long shot by Przemyslaw Piesciuk in the 68th minute really tested Iwan Sokol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ruch Chorzów's Czeslaw Zacharzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Szostak in the 70th minute of play. Czeslaw Zacharzewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Borys Szostak went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ruch Chorzów fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sadlacken a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wasyl Marud, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ruch Chorzów's Czeslaw Zacharzewski. 2-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Borys Szostak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sadlacken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borys Szostak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Pyczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ruch Chorzów! Borys Szostak struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Czeslaw Zacharzewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sadlacken. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sadlacken's goalkeeper Iwan Sokol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sadlacken's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
