Waldemar Mosiniak's late challenge caught a Ruch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Mosiniak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ruch booed when Jagódki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Mosiniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Ruch's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Ledochowski came free, but Marek Kiewra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ruch's Marek Kiewra got control of the ball when Daniel Ciborek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Damian Ledochowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruch's Marek Kiewra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Waldemar Mosiniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maciej Labus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Jagódki's zone, Maciej Labus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Antoszewski came out of the goal and Maciej Labus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maciej Labus in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juliusz Antoszewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wladyslaw Murdza hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Damian Ledochowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruch's Igor Michnik got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Igor Michnik off the ground. Marek Kiewra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Ledochowski in the 72nd minute of the match. Daniel Ciborek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruch's Marek Kiewra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Ciborek in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Ruch getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Maciej Labus hit a great ball. Daniel Ciborek struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marek Kiewra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagódki. Jagódki's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
