Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes, Herbert Karpinski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Celtic warsaw's Juliusz Bucyki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute, Wieslaw Sroki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dankowice getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dariusz Kloczko hit a great ball. Juliusz Bucyki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Smolarek in the 10th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Celtic warsaw's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Smolarek came free, but Juliusz Bucyki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Wojciech Smolarek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic warsaw's Juliusz Bucyki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dankowice's zone, Edgar Pankiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Iwanowski came out of the goal and Edgar Pankiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Celtic warsaw's Tanek Dytrych slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aleksander Iwanowski. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Wojciech Smolarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juliusz Bucyki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 41 minutes, Dobromir Arbaszewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celtic warsaw and the Dankowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dankowice booed when Celtic warsaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Arbaszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Fafinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Herbert Karpinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47thth minute of the game Herbert Karpinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic warsaw's Juliusz Bucyki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Dariusz Kloczko fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dankowice's protests and gave Dariusz Kloczko a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Dankowice got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Kloczko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Karpinski got free with Juliusz Bucyki in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dankowice's Herbert Karpinski got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Herbert Karpinski came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Dankowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Karpinski couldn't finish the play. Wojciech Smolarek was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Dankowice's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Herbert Karpinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Karpinski struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Juliusz Bucyki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dankowice. 83 minutes into the match, Wojciech Smolarek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juliusz Bucyki, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Smolarek in the 92nd minute of play forced Celtic warsaw's goalkeeper Juliusz Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Celtic warsaw got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Huchro.
