Ryszard Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Przewozik having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ziemowit Misiorowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pawel Chlapowski was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ksawery Kaszubowski in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Chlapowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ryszard Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Opojowice SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ryszard Barna fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the game, Wincent Pyrzyce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Opojowice SA the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Wincent Pyrzyce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pawel Chlapowski was a little too slow when Ziemowit Misiorowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's Pawel Chlapowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork from getting a goal against them. Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's Pawel Chlapowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Misiorowski in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Lucjan Bochynski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Opojowice SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Bochynski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Chlapowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's zone, Lucjan Bochynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pawel Chlapowski came out of the goal and Lucjan Bochynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucjan Bochynski struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pawel Chlapowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opojowice SA. In the 80th minute, Ziemowit Misiorowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pawel Chlapowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ziemowit Misiorowski went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ksawery Kaszubowski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Opojowice SA's performance. The match ended with a win for Opojowice SA.
