After a defensive mix-up in Dzierzgi SSA's zone, Olgierd Prusinowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Pluciennik came out of the goal and Olgierd Prusinowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Husów SA getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Olgierd Prusinowski hit a great ball. Aureliusz Gargaszs short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Zygmunt Gibowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Klement Przewozik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Pluciennik having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Prusinowski in the 14th minute of play forced Dzierzgi SSA's goalkeeper Jerzy Pluciennik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerzy Pluciennik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Przewozik, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jerzy Pluciennik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Prusinowski in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Dzierzgi SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Makarewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dzierzgi SSA's goalkeeper Jerzy Pluciennik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Klement Przewozik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husów SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Przewozik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Pluciennik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Przewozik in the 38th minute of play forced Dzierzgi SSA's goalkeeper Jerzy Pluciennik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aureliusz Gargasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliusz Gargasz was the one to do the kick off. Bogumil Dziewedik charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogumil Dziewedik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dobromir Marciewicz placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jerzy Pluciennik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Prusinowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Leonard Dobrzechowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Pluciennik having to interfere. When Olgierd Prusinowski came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Husów SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Prusinowski couldn't finish the play. If Olgierd Prusinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Klement Przewozik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Olgierd Prusinowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerzy Pluciennik. Olgierd Prusinowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 67th minute, Klement Przewozik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Pluciennik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to Husów SA getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Leonard Dobrzechowski hit a great ball. Aureliusz Gargasz might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zygmunt Gibowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliusz Gargasz ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan Makarewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dzierzgi SSA's Radomir Opat got a free kick in the 77th minute. Klement Przewozik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Jerzy Pluciennik skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aureliusz Gargasz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zygmunt Gibowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliusz Gargasz in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Gibowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonard Dobrzechowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jerzy Pluciennik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dzierzgi SSA's Jerzy Pluciennik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dzierzgi SSA from getting a goal against them. Husów SA's Olgierd Prusinowski got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerzy Pluciennik made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Klement Przewozik sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th of the match, Olgierd Prusinowski tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jerzy Pluciennik got in the way and made a wonderful save. The audience was convinced that Olgierd Prusinowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Pluciennik was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Husów SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
