Mieszko Mentis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Pilipiec having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Domamir in the 36th minute of play forced Zapolednik's goalkeeper Bogumil Orszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mieszko Mentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Wielgopolski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Norbert Pilipiec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapolednik. In the 42ndth minute of the game Damazy Wielgopolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Norbert Pilipiec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Aureliusz Zabrzeski got a free kick in the 68th minute. Damazy Wielgopolskis short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Norbert Pilipiec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Norbert Pilipiec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Wielgopolski in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Mentis in the 78th minute of play forced Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Norbert Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Wielgopolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Norbert Pilipiec made a huge save.
