Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sylwester Wawro kicked off to start the match. Sylwester Wawro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbigniew Puchlik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 6 played minutes AFC Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Jaktorowo. Zbigniew Puchlik came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Odra Opole's Sylwester Wawro. But to his dismay, Sylwester Wawro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 13th minute, Sylwester Wawro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zbigniew Puchlik, passed just outside the right post. Zbigniew Puchlik was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Sylwester Wawro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sylwester Wawro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 22nd minute of the match Konrad Klawke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbigniew Puchlik skillfully saved the ball. Konstanty Malicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Solarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piotr Patora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Malicki having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Patora in the 28th minute of play forced Odra Opole's goalkeeper Konstanty Malicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Solarek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstanty Malicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Konstanty Malicki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piotr Patora went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Piotr Adamski's late challenge caught a AFC Gdynia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piotr Adamski helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Odra Opole got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Adamski. Wojciech Trojanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AFC Gdynia booed when Odra Opole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Adamski didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC Gdynia's Piotr Patora got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Solarek to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, AFC Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Hajder came free, but Zbigniew Puchlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
