Benedykt Ruzicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Gurgul having to interfere. Antoni Oborski scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiktor Gurgul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Bogdan Brysz managed to get in a good position for a shot. EAST THORN's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Brysz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Jajesniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wlodzimierz Jurgiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of EAST THORN booed when Mszczyczyn SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Mnich didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wlodzimierz Jurgiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Brysz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Jajesniak having to interfere. Antoni Oborski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Wiktor Gurgul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Jurgiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Jajesniak having to make a save. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind EAST THORN's goalkeeper Wiktor Gurgul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. EAST THORN's Wiktor Gurgul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Oborski in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wlodzimierz Jurgiel to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Oborski in the 56th minute of play forced EAST THORN's goalkeeper Wiktor Gurgul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Brysz might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Jajesniak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
