The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dominik Sedzikowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Zywiec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Żużela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kanthen the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Żużela's zone, Stanislaw Panikowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walery Fronczak came out of the goal and Stanislaw Panikowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stanislaw Panikowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Arendarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Fronczak having to interfere. Kanthen's Waldemar Arendarski got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walery Fronczak didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kanthen's Stanislaw Panikowski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, FC Żużela's Kajetan Kojder got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Stanislaw Panikowski came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kanthen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Panikowski couldn't finish the play. If Aureliusz Piglowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Kanthen's Waldemar Arendarski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walery Fronczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Stanislaw Panikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Walery Fronczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Arendarski in the 45th minute of play forced FC Żużela's goalkeeper Walery Fronczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Kanthen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliusz Piglowski was the one to do the kick off. Kanthen's Stanislaw Panikowski got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Kanthen's Stanislaw Panikowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walery Fronczak. Walery Fronczak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Walery Fronczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Panikowski in the 68th minute of the match. Walery Fronczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Arendarski in the 72nd minute. The supporters of FC Żużela booed when Kanthen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Jazwiec didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Żużela's Dominik Sedzikowski got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliusz Piglowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Pisarcik having to interfere. In the 80th minute Stanislaw Panikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Fronczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Arendarski got free with Walery Fronczak in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Arendarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Piglowski in the 88th minute of play forced Kanthen's goalkeeper Zachariasz Pisarcik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Sedzikowski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Zachariasz Pisarcik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Żużela. Waldemar Arendarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Fronczak having to interfere.
