The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucjan Degutis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Skoroda in the 2nd minute of the match. Boruc Lichucki, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Grzegorz Cetnar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Zajdy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Pierz to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Roman struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Maksymilian Nocny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice. Zajdy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boruc Lichucki in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Boruc Lichucki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice's Lucjan Degutis did a great save. Edmund Skoroda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes in the game, Miromir Siekierka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lucjan Degutis having to interfere. Szczepan Lepper kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Edmund Skoroda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Edmund Skoroda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucjan Degutis, 2-0. Miromir Siekierka struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lucjan Degutis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zajdy. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Miromir Siekierka came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Zajdy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Siekierka couldn't finish the play. Edmund Skoroda might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucjan Degutis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Skoroda ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 62 minutes, Grzegorz Cetnar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Cetnar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Leon Tepper came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Zajdy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Tepper couldn't finish the play. Witomir Niedzwiecki charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witomir Niedzwiecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grzegorz Cetnar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antoni Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Nocny having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice's zone, Miromir Siekierka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Degutis came out of the goal and Miromir Siekierka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice defense, Edmund Skoroda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Degutis. The Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Degutis should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Miromir Siekierka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Szczepan Lepper hit a great ball. If Miromir Siekierka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pfk Wichura 44 Katowice's Mikolaj Ludwiczak got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Boruc Lichucki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Degutis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zajdy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
