Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zachary Kocieniewski got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Strawianka Piotrków's Zachary Kocieniewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Maziarz. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. If Tomasz Poling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 14 minutes of play, FC Legion's Tomasz Poling made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cyryl Cebula was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerzy Gacek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dariusz Maziarz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Legion's Beniamin Kinic got a free kick in the 20th minute. Zachary Kocieniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Maziarz having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Tomasz Poling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strawianka Piotrków's Cyryl Cebula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zbyszko Popowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Cebula having to interfere. If Jerzy Gacek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Legion getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Krzysztof Cieliczka hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Strawianka Piotrków's Iwan Makomaski tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jerzy Gacek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, FC Legion's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Kocieniewski came free, but Dariusz Maziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Gacek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Dariusz Maziarz made a huge save. Zachary Kocieniewskis short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Dariusz Maziarz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Strawianka Piotrków booed when FC Legion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Cieliczka didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zbyszko Popowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Legion's Tomasz Poling got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Strawianka Piotrków's Cyryl Cebula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Strawianka Piotrków from getting a goal against them. Cyryl Cebula made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Maciej Majusiak sent off a good shot on target. Jerzy Gacek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Maziarz having to interfere. Dariusz Maziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Gacek in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes FC Legion got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Bronkala. After a defensive mix-up in FC Legion's zone, Iwan Makomaski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dariusz Maziarz came out of the goal and Iwan Makomaski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zachary Kocieniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Gacek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Tomasz Poling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Legion's goalkeeper Dariusz Maziarz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerzy Gacek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Kocieniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Maziarz having to interfere. After 97 played minutes FC Legion got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Kinic. In the 100th minute Zachary Kocieniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Maziarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strawianka Piotrków's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
