He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Toruń reached it. Czeslaw Mis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antoni Gurgul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Deput in the 9th minute of the match. Korneliusz Lemiesz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maksymilian Pluciennik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antoni Gurgul. FC Toruń's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Lamczyk got free with Stasio Burdzel in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Czeslaw Mis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Burdzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stasio Burdzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Mis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Kobiernice SSA got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Deput. Ryszard Pieprz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Stasio Burdzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karol Lamczyk scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stasio Burdzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Korneliusz Lemiesz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Gurgul having to interfere. Herbert Poniewaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Lemiesz made a kick off. Stasio Burdzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Lamczyk in the 63rd minute of play. Stasio Burdzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Mis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Antoni Gurgul had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Piglowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fabian Piglowski scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antoni Gurgul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Herbert Poniewaz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kobiernice SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Poniewaz couldn't finish the play. Kobiernice SSA's Korneliusz Lemiesz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoni Gurgul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Lemiesz in the 84th minute of play. Czeslaw Mis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herbert Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
