Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Toruń's Marek Cerocki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Izydor Lisewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Mis in the 12th minute. Grzybiny SA's Izydor Lisewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Grzybiny SA from getting a goal against them. Izydor Lisewski came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Toruń's Czeslaw Mis. But to his dismay, Czeslaw Mis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 20 played minutes, Grzybiny SA's Zula Hendzel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antoni Gurgul came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grzybiny SA reached it. Czeslaw Czaplicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Gurgul having to interfere. Antoni Gurgul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Turacki in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Czeslaw Czaplicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Gurgul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Damian Turacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grzybiny SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Turacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czeslaw Czaplicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Antoni Gurgul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Turacki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Gurgul having to make a save. In the 35th match minute, FC Toruń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Pieprz to maneuver through the defense. Radomir Karanewski charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Karanewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Radomir Karanewski hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Czeslaw Mis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Damian Turacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Czeslaw Czaplicki to strike the kick off in the second half. Marek Cerocki struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Izydor Lisewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Toruń. After 56 played minutes Grzybiny SA got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Karanewski. In the 62nd minute Marek Cerocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Lisewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Mis in the 63rd minute of play forced Grzybiny SA's goalkeeper Izydor Lisewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Lisewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Mis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Toruń's zone, Damian Turacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Gurgul came out of the goal and Damian Turacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Toruń fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when FC Toruń's Czeslaw Mis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Barnaba Michnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Turacki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antoni Gurgul. That made the score 2-1 in the 83 minute of play. After 87 played minutes FC Toruń got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Klimkiewicz. A collision led to FC Toruń getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ryszard Pieprz hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Toruń's Antoni Gurgul got control of the ball when Damian Turacki tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Toruń could leave the field as winners, despite Grzybiny SA having more of the ball for most of the match.
