The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Krönau's Igor Winszman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Krönau from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Adamowicz was the one to do the kick off. Wincenty Misiewicz scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Winszman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerzy Adamowicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daavid Beckham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Jerzy Adamowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daavid Beckham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Workeim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincenty Misiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes of play, Workeim's Kajetan Noworolnik made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Winszman was left in no man's land by his defense there!
