After a defensive mix-up in Smulska's zone, Teofil Siembab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Fudalej came out of the goal and Teofil Siembab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Smulska's Wit Fudalej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Mentus in the 9th minute of play. With his leg Wit Fudalej managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Grabiszew's Teofil Siembab fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jakub Gonsiewski's late challenge caught a Smulska's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jakub Gonsiewski helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the match, Teofil Siembab notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Smulska's Wit Fudalej. Wit Fudalej was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Teofil Siembab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Grabiszew's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Kazimierz came free, but Ludomil Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Grabiszew got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Mentus. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

57 minutes into the match, Smulska's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Siembab came free, but Wit Fudalej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konrad Kazimierz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ludomil Topolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smulska. Smulska's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Kazimierz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Smulska's Wit Fudalej played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Mentus in the 70th minute of play. Teofil Siembab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Fudalej having to interfere. In the 88th minute Janusz Mentus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Fudalej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
