Zula Pluciennik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariusz Piwowarski might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Borys Frodyma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariusz Piwowarski ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Jawiszowice's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Ogrodowicz came free, but Borys Frodyma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of wisła krakuw booed when Jawiszowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Ranowiecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borys Frodyma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Ogrodowicz to make the kick off. Mariusz Piwowarski struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Borys Frodyma made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Mariusz Piwowarski sent off a good shot on target. When Leon Ogrodowicz came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the wisła krakuw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Ogrodowicz couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
