With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napoleon Misiorowski in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szczepan Cichewski saved Starogard SSA from getting behind. Kazimierz Pacholewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Szarmach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Klützow SSA's Ryszard Tyszka got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 44 minutes, Ulryk Liberko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Starogard SSA and the Klützow SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Starogard SSA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ulryk Liberko hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Ulryk Liberko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Szarmach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Kazimierz Pacholewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Szarmach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Liberko in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Ulryk Liberko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Ratulowski in the 93rd minute of play forced Klützow SSA's goalkeeper Edward Szarmach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Starogard SSA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
