With an extended leg and a bit of luck Przemyslaw Sidorowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot by Radomir Mojsiewicz from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Przemyslaw Sidorowicz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Rufiki booed when FC Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Winograd didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Porto defense, Wincenty Jestrimski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Zbydniewski. The FC Porto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Zbydniewski should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Wincenty Jestrimski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Zbydniewski was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Miromir Tomporowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Charlap in the 27th minute of play forced Rufiki's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Sidorowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Zbydniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Tomporowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Tomporowski struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Emil Zbydniewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rufiki. Miromir Tomporowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Emil Zbydniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Tomporowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Zbydniewski having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wincenty Jestrimski made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Rufiki's Witomir Kasprzak got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Wincenty Jestrimski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miromir Tomporowski couldn't finish the play. After 77 minutes of play, Rufiki's Wincenty Jestrimski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Zbydniewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emil Zbydniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Jestrimski in the 84th minute of play. Miromir Tomporowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Emil Zbydniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witomir Kasprzak kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Emil Charlap might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Sidorowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Charlap ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute, Ziemowit Ptaszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufiki's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
