In the 3rd minute of the match Wincenty Budzyn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kryspin Walaszkiewicz skillfully saved the ball. In the 5th minute Waclaw Banach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Walaszkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tyczyn defense, Jacek Grondzki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Walaszkiewicz. The Tyczyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Walaszkiewicz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Banach in the 16th minute of play forced Tyczyn's goalkeeper Kryspin Walaszkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Dobromir Weyna notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's Kazimierz Mochadlo. Kazimierz Mochadlo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Radomil Piszczor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kazimierz Mochadlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Weyna in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Mochadlo saved Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Kryspin Walaszkiewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kazimierz Mochadlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Piszczor in the 29th minute of play. Dobromir Weyna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kazimierz Mochadlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Grondzki kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dobromir Weyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Przemyslaw Burowski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Damaski during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dominik Damaski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Dobromir Weyna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazimierz Mochadlo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The referee gave Tyczyn a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aleksander Fafinski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's Kazimierz Mochadlo. 2-3. The Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tyczyn's performance. The match ended with a win for Tyczyn.
