The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wasyl Maruda struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Bogumil Falkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toporki SA. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jerzy Zajonc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Janiszewo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Zajonc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Rode breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tymoteusz Maruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Rode having to interfere. Aleksander Wos's late challenge caught a Janiszewo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksander Wos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Toporki SA's Aleksander Wos got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Tymoteusz Maruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Rode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Zajonc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Janiszewo's Jerzy Zajonc in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toporki SA's goalie prevented a goal. Jerzy Zajonc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Rode having to interfere. Janiszewo's Jerzy Zajonc got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerzy Zajonc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pankracy Rode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pankracy Rode showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Jaraczewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Toporki SA's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Zajonc came free, but Pankracy Rode reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Maruda in the 47th minute of play forced Toporki SA's goalkeeper Pankracy Rode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tymoteusz Maruda to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Janiszewo got a corner. Toporki SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacek Adamus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jerzy Zajonc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pankracy Rode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerzy Zajonc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Toporki SA booed when Janiszewo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Jaraczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Pankracy Rode successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jerzy Zajonc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Pankracy Rode made a huge save. Bernard Zagrobelny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Falkiewicz having to interfere. Jerzy Zajonc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Janiszewo booed when Toporki SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Kluczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tymoteusz Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Toporki SA's Pankracy Rode got control of the ball when Jerzy Zajonc tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tymoteusz Maruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute of the match, Jerzy Zajonc got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pankracy Rode was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Janiszewo played a much better game than Toporki SA and deserved their victory. The Toporki SA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
