Hälse SA's Karol Resel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziemowit Wolczewski in the 3rd minute of play. Wincent Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Ludwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Ludwa in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wincent Trzaskoma saved Szachtar Ryki from getting behind. Fryderyk Siwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Szachtar Ryki booed when Hälse SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Pachucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Szachtar Ryki's Ziemowit Wolczewski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karol Resel. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Pachucki in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wincent Trzaskoma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wawrzyniec Tworek during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Wawrzyniec Tworek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karol Resel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Wolczewski in the 41st minute of the match. Fryderyk Siwys short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Karol Resel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Hälse SA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Wawrzyniec Tworek hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hälse SA's Tolek Pachucki got a free kick in the 47th minute. Szachtar Ryki's Ulryk Maziarz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hälse SA. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hieronim Ludwa made the kick off in the second half. Ziemowit Wolczewski struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Karol Resel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szachtar Ryki. If Czeslaw Mierzwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hieronim Ludwa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wincent Trzaskoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Szachtar Ryki's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hieronim Ludwa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hieronim Ludwa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Wincent Trzaskoma made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Hälse SA's Hieronim Ludwa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wincent Trzaskoma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hieronim Ludwa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincent Trzaskoma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hieronim Ludwa ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Szachtar Ryki's goalkeeper Wincent Trzaskoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hieronim Ludwa. Wincent Trzaskoma made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Hieronim Ludwa sent off a good shot on target. Ulryk Maziarz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hälse SA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szachtar Ryki.
