The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Heranstal's Cezary Domarecki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Witomir Konieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heranstal were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after KS Czerwienne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliusz Adamus took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aureliusz Adamus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Witomir Konieczny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute, Zdzislaw Niezywy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksander Gamza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Janusz Logewnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mieszko Milko's late challenge caught a Heranstal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mieszko Milko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, KS Czerwienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Milko to maneuver through the defense. Aureliusz Adamus, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 43rd minute, Heranstal's Izydor Barciniak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Witomir Konieczny. Witomir Konieczny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Gamza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cezary Domarecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Gamza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Janusz Logewnik came out and tried to block the shot, but Aleksander Gamza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Edward Pilarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Logewnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Gamza in the 64th minute of the match. Heranstal's Cezary Domarecki got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janusz Logewnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Gamza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Aleksander Gamza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Logewnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Edward Pilarski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Czerwienne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Pilarski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Czerwienne's goalkeeper Witomir Konieczny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Janusz Logewnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Gamza, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute Izydor Barciniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Konieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th play minute Edward Pilarski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Janusz Logewnik. 1-2. After some careless play in the KS Czerwienne defense, Hugon Przewozik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Witomir Konieczny. The KS Czerwienne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Witomir Konieczny should have stopped the shot. Mieszko Milko got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Heranstal booed when KS Czerwienne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Milko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
