When Hieronim Rzeszutek came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the NIEBIESCY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hieronim Rzeszutek couldn't finish the play. Cyryl Marchefka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kazimierz Dzerwucki struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Dobromir Cichowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Żory. Kazimierz Dzerwucki scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dobromir Cichowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Hieronim Rzeszutek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kazimierz Dzerwucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dobromir Cichowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Tomasz Siembab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tymoteusz Rzegotka to strike the kick off in the second half. NIEBIESCY's Dobromir Cichowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Rzegotka in the 63rd minute of play. Dobromir Cichowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Rzegotka, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Tymoteusz Rzegotka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Dzerwucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Cichowski having to interfere. Tymoteusz Rzegotka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dobromir Cichowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Tymoteusz Rzegotka slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Tymoteusz Rzegotka managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Żory's supporters rose to their feet, but Tymoteusz Rzegotka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dobromir Cichowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Sawicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Marchefka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes NIEBIESCY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pawel Chrobak who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Pawel Chrobak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NIEBIESCY's Dobromir Cichowski did a great save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
