Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomil Kaczanek in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulryk Pyrtek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateusz Jaroszewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulryk Pyrtek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateusz Jaroszewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Cyprian Brzeszczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Przemyslaw Czeszyk in the 44th minute. Robert Barycz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cyprian Brzeszczak. Płocka Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dobromir Byczewski to strike the kick off in the second half. Ulryk Pyrtek was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Ludomil Kaczanek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ludomil Kaczanek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Płocka Bydgoszcz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
