The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Magdziarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Tobiasz Kloczko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Mentus in the 11th minute of play. Gilbert Wierzbicki kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Hoverbeck SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Chuchro came free, but Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Radomir Zurawski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21st minute, Daniel Mentus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Herbert Piwowarski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tobiasz Kloczko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Mentus in the 30th minute of the match. If Tobiasz Pilarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Hoverbeck SSA's Andrzej Anszczak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Kozie Wolki's Radomir Zurawski got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tadeusz Magdziarz made the kick off in the second half. Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Magdziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zygmunt Barciniak. Herbert Piwowarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Kozie Wolki booed when Hoverbeck SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Tarasek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Kozie Wolki's Gustaw Chuchro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 77th minute, Andrzej Anszczak made a precise shot to the right of Tobiasz Kloczko. Kozie Wolki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 80th match minute, Hoverbeck SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Anszczak to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozie Wolki's goalkeeper Tobiasz Kloczko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hoverbeck SSA's Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Zurawski in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hoverbeck SSA's Bartlomiej Borczak got a free kick in the 88th minute. Daniel Mentus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tobiasz Kloczko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radomir Zurawski got free with Arkadiusz Moczkiewicz in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kozie Wolki's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
