Cezary Andrzejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franciszek Gongola, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ignacy Drabs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Kazimierz Lanczak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute, Ignacy Drab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Ignacy Drab made a precise shot to the right of Kazimierz Lanczak. Kaunen SSA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Result 1-2. In the 57th match minute, Kaunen SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Dres to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Lanczak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacy Drab went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Popowicz in the 64th minute of play forced Kaunen SSA's goalkeeper Kazimierz Lanczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Feliks Arendarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaunen SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliks Arendarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cezary Andrzejewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliks Arendarski struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cezary Andrzejewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaunen SSA. In the 69th minute, Barnaba Kendra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Lanczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Drab in the 71st minute of play. Gustaw Banan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezary Andrzejewski. Taraska's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Kaunen SSA getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bogumil Barycz hit a great ball. Kazimierz Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Frenzel in the 77th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Ignacy Drab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Lanczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Taraska failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
