In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Az Alkmaar FC's goalkeeper Aureliusz Penc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wit Chrzan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Walery Wincek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Az Alkmaar FC and the Balin SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walery Wincek kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Aureliusz Penc came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Balin SSA's Roman Banas. But to his dismay, Roman Banas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tolek Wiater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Witkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Balin SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Luty to maneuver through the defense. Emil Witkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Wiater having to interfere. Aureliusz Penc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Lisewski in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Roman Banas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balin SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Banas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliusz Penc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Az Alkmaar FC's Aureliusz Penc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Az Alkmaar FC from getting a goal against them. Az Alkmaar FC's Wieslaw Niedziela got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wieslaw Niedziela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balin SSA's Tolek Wiater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Huchro in the 97th minute of play. Emil Witkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Tolek Wiater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Balin SSA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
