Feliks Andrzejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Waclaw Balkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Biała Gwiazda 1906 booed when Podlaskie Orły was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Wyrzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Golec charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 42nd play minute Witomir Dlugi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Radomil Imbor. 1-1. If Waclaw Balkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliusz Bazan to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Biała Gwiazda 1906 got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Dubiel. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Biała Gwiazda 1906's goalkeeper Radomil Imbor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Witomir Szarmach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
