Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) ŁKS Łódz Academy's Zbyszek Dubilas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zygmunt Modliszewski during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zygmunt Modliszewski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zbyszek Dubilas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŁKS Łódz Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszek Dubilas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Grocholski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbyszek Dubilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Janusz Grocholski made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Bartosz Witkowski sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Milton Keynes Dons's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Dubilas came free, but Janusz Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleksander Tyski to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ŁKS Łódz Academy's Jerzy Raszek got control of the ball when Konstanty Purzycki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zygmunt Modliszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Konstanty Purzycki made a precise shot to the right of Jerzy Raszek. ŁKS Łódz Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 70th minute, Zbyszek Dubilas made a precise shot to the right of Janusz Grocholski. Milton Keynes Dons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 75th minute, Milton Keynes Dons's Konstanty Purzycki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 79 minutes into the match, Konstanty Purzycki notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ŁKS Łódz Academy's Jerzy Raszek. Jerzy Raszek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Janusz Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Dubilas in the 82nd minute of play. Bartosz Witkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janusz Grocholski having to interfere. Bartosz Witkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Janusz Grocholski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Milton Keynes Dons players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
