Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filip Zjawin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute of the match, Adam Jenkot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Zjawin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Cezary Waselenczuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Doratynka's zone, Cezary Waselenczuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Lamczyk came out of the goal and Cezary Waselenczuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Adam Jenkot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doratynka's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Jenkot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Zjawin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wrota Baldura's zone, Tadeusz Pachucki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Zjawin came out of the goal and Tadeusz Pachucki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doratynka's Tadeusz Pachucki got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cezary Waselenczuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cezary Waselenczuk to make the kick off.
