The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Ryszard Czerwinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klement Rykaczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Zabrzeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, KS Wihajster Poznań's Florian Skonieczny got a free kick in the 9th minute. Ryszard Czerwinski struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Klement Rykaczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markajmy SA. Napoleon Skaradowski kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of KS Wihajster Poznań booed when Markajmy SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Skaradowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wit Solibieda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Markajmy SA's Wit Czerner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Zabrzeski in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Markajmy SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Skaradowski to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Roland Laba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Wihajster Poznań's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Laba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Markajmy SA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Napoleon Skaradowski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Edward Zabrzeski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wit Czerner was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Roland Laba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 43rd minute of the match Napoleon Skaradowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Napoleon Skaradowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Napoleon Skaradowski hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The long shot by Witomir Pinczewski in the 45th minute really tested Wit Czerner's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Roland Laba managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Wihajster Poznań's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Laba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Czerner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Markajmy SA's Wit Czerner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Markajmy SA from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wit Solibieda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edward Zabrzeski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wit Czerner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edward Zabrzeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Witalis Napierkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Wit Czerner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Beninda in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Markajmy SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Czerwinski to maneuver through the defense. Wit Czerner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Zabrzeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wit Solibieda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Klement Rykaczewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Markajmy SA's zone, Edward Zabrzeski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wit Czerner came out of the goal and Edward Zabrzeski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of KS Wihajster Poznań booed when Markajmy SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Napierkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witomir Pinczewski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wit Czerner. Markajmy SA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Laba in the 90th minute of play forced Markajmy SA's goalkeeper Wit Czerner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Zawada charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Zawada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Roland Zawada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that KS Wihajster Poznań were the better team. KS Wihajster Poznań's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
