Damian Szostak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernard Arbaszewski. Wróblina SSA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Klejnowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filip Pieprz. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. Bernard Arbaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Leon Bator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 52 minutes, Leon Bator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Herbert Rasiak came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Wróblina SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Rasiak couldn't finish the play. If Borys Malik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Piechocki in the 75th minute of play forced Widowo SA's goalkeeper Filip Pieprz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Arbaszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Malik in the 76th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Bator kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernard Arbaszewski. That made the score 1-1 in the 84 minute of play. When the match was over Widowo SA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wróblina SSA throughout the match.
