Edward Wiatrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Lenertej in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Continental's goalkeeper Edward Wiatrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Witold Lenertej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edward Wiatrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Continental's Klement Kaszubowski got a free kick in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Bergling SA's Witold Lenertej sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edward Wiatrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Witold Lenertej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Edward Wiatrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witold Lenertej struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Edward Wiatrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergling SA. Olaf Wojtkiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Wojtkiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, FC Continental was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Wojtkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Edward Wiatrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Lenertej in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes FC Continental got a freekick which was hit by Klement Kaszubowski. Witold Lenertej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edward Wiatrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Witold Lenertej managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergling SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Lenertej was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Wiatrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ziemowit Karanewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Wiatrak having to interfere. Iwan Flis's late challenge caught a Bergling SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwan Flis helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolek Kolano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Tymoteusz Gollob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bergling SA's Ziemowit Karanewski got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigiusz Malik charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigiusz Malik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Continental's Remigiusz Malik got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Tobiasz Oleszak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergling SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Oleszak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Continental's zone, Ziemowit Karanewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Wiatrak came out of the goal and Ziemowit Karanewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waclaw Lesiecki charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waclaw Lesiecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Fryderyk Rydzyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fryderyk Rydzyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Marchlewicz having to interfere. Ziemowit Karanewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Edward Wiatrak made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Bergling SA's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Kolano came free, but Antoni Marchlewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klement Kaszubowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Marchlewicz having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ziemowit Karanewski made a precise shot to the right of Edward Wiatrak. FC Continental's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ziemowit Karanewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Wiatrak having to interfere. FC Continental's Edward Wiatrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Lenertej in the 99th minute of play. Bergling SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
