The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliusz Malicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Czekaj having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aureliusz Malicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Czekaj was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 14th minute of the match, Cyprian Balonek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dominik Tyskie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 20 minutes, Radomir Majorski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Gol Łódź's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomir Majorski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ludomil Snaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Edmund Falke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Aureliusz Malicki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grzegorz Czekaj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wladyslaw Bielatowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Dominik Tyskie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Majorski in the 68th minute of play. Aureliusz Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Grzegorz Czekaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Cyprian Balonek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Gol Łódź's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyprian Balonek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grzegorz Czekaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliusz Malicki in the 91st minute of play. Aureliusz Malicki struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Grzegorz Czekaj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rudnicze. Rudnicze were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
