Andrzej Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Fujarczuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 9 minutes, Bartlomiej Fujarczuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalenczynnen SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartlomiej Fujarczuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lech Poznań's zone, Bartlomiej Fujarczuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrzej Ziomkowski came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Fujarczuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Bartlomiej Fujarczuk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lech Poznań's Andrzej Ziomkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Jurand Grabowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lech Poznań booed when Kalenczynnen SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Jazowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Trochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbigniew Lenertej having to interfere. Andrzej Ziomkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofil Kaczanka went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th match minute, Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Piekarczyk to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Andrzej Ziomkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Bartlomiej Fujarczuk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrzej Ziomkowski. The goal made the score 2-0.

The wind increased when Jurand Grabowicz made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cezary Waselenczuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Piekarczyk. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofil Kaczanka in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrzej Ziomkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrzej Grajewski charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrzej Grajewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Lech Poznań:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kalenczynnen SSA:s goal. The referee gave Kalenczynnen SSA a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Witomir Ikalewicz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lech Poznań's Andrzej Ziomkowski. 3-0. A collision led to Kalenczynnen SSA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Korneliusz Jazowski hit a great ball. Bartlomiej Fujarczuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Andrzej Ziomkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofil Kaczanka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lech Poznań's Tolek Liermann got a free kick in the 81st minute. Teofil Kaczanka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Andrzej Ziomkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tolek Liermann hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Kazimierz Trochowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Teofil Kaczanka came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Kalenczynnen SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofil Kaczanka couldn't finish the play. Bartlomiej Fujarczuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Ziomkowski having to interfere. Jurand Grabowicz struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Zbigniew Lenertej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lech Poznań.
