Korneliusz Serwach's late challenge caught a Zagłębie1906Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korneliusz Serwach helped the player get up and apologised. Zachary Golec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyprian Damazki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksander Pracki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Szwedzik Team's Boruc Tylinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Golec in the 47th minute of play. The Szwedzik Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zagłębie1906Sosnowiec were winning 0-1.

Lucjan Tomporowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksander Pracki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucjan Tomporowski ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Szwedzik Team's Boruc Tylinski got control of the ball when Wlodzimierz Klocko tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zagłębie1906Sosnowiec had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
