Ryszard Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Lepucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guziec Athletic's Ryszard Giertych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Lepucki in the 7th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Borys Koperski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ryszard Giertych. 18 minutes into the match, Guziec Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Koperski came free, but Ryszard Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Robert Scigan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Giertych prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Borys Koperski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pankracy Niziolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
