Zygmuntowo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lech Moizuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Komornicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Komornicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Olender, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Jan Piesciuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zygmuntowo booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Czajka didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lech Moizuk got free with Robert Komornicki in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the game, FC Barcelona's Jan Piesciuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karol Roman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. FC Barcelona's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wincenty Olender 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Piesciuk to make the kick off. Robert Komornicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Olender in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Zygmuntowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Domeracki to maneuver through the defense. Wincenty Olender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lech Moizuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wincenty Olender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Komornicki having to interfere. Robert Komornicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Domeracki in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Emil Cizeski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
