In the 12th minute, Zachariasz Iwaszko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chotków fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Boleslaw Dziewulski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Wicherek having to interfere. Motor Lublin's Olgierd Babicki pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miroslaw Mondrowski during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
